Terms of Service
Last updated: May 20, 2025
Welcome, and thanks for using SLense! These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using the SLense extension and website. By using SLense, you agree to these Terms.
If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. Who We Are
SLense is a tool that works with Google Sheets to help you analyze and work with spreadsheet data more efficiently. It's currently provided by an individual developer and is free to use. We may expand to other platforms or introduce paid features in the future.
2. Using SLense
You're allowed to install and use SLense for personal or business use.
You can't:
- Copy or resell the app
- Modify or reverse-engineer the code
- Use it in any illegal or harmful way
We reserve the right to suspend access if someone misuses the service.
3. Privacy
SLense only accesses the data it needs to function inside your spreadsheet. We do not sell your data. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how we use it.
4. Future Paid Features
SLense is currently free. In the future, we may offer paid features or subscription plans. If we do, we'll clearly communicate the pricing, terms, and give you a chance to review them before any payment is required.
5. Your Data
At this time, SLense does not store any content you create. If in the future we enable sharing or content upload features, we'll update these terms and explain your rights and responsibilities.
6. Service Availability
We try to keep SLense running smoothly, but we can't guarantee it will be error-free or available all the time. We may change or remove features without notice.
7. Disclaimer & Liability
SLense is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We're not responsible for:
- Any bugs or interruptions in the service
- Lost data, spreadsheet errors, or damages related to using SLense
Use SLense at your own risk.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make major changes, we'll notify you (for example, via our website). Continued use of SLense means you accept the new terms.
