Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2025
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data SLense collects, how it's used, and your rights.
By using SLense, you agree to the terms in this Privacy Policy.
1. What We Access
SLense is a Google Sheets extension. It only accesses the data necessary to provide its features. This may include:
- Spreadsheet content (e.g., cell values, formulas) for in-sheet processing
- Basic metadata (e.g., sheet names or structure) to support the app’s functionality
SLense requests access via Google’s OAuth 2.0 protocol and uses only the minimum required scopes to function.
For the purposes of this policy, “Spreadsheet Data” refers to spreadsheet content and metadata accessed via your Google Sheets account through the SLense extension.
2. What We Don't Do
We do not:
- Store Spreadsheet Data on our servers
- Create user profiles
- Collect personal information
- Sell, share, transfer, or disclose Spreadsheet Data to third parties
- Track you across websites
3. Where and How Data is Processed
All data processing is performed either:
- Directly in your browser (client-side), or
- Within the Google Sheets environment using Google Apps Script, which runs securely on Google’s infrastructure
SLense does not transmit, log, or store any data outside of this environment. No spreadsheet content is persisted after processing.
While SLense does not specifically collect or process sensitive personal data (such as health, financial, or biometric information), any spreadsheet content is treated with the same high standard of security and never leaves the local or trusted environment.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
SLense does not share, transfer, or disclose Spreadsheet Data with any third parties under any circumstances. All accessed data is used solely to provide the requested functionality within the Google Sheets environment.
5. Third-Party Services
SLense does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
If that changes, we'll update this policy and offer opt-out options.
6. Your Rights
Because we do not collect or retain any personal data, there are no user accounts or profiles to manage. However, if you have questions or concerns regarding your data or this policy, you may contact us at any time.
7. Future Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy if SLense evolves. If we make major changes, we'll clearly notify you (e.g., via the website or inside the app).
